7-ELEVEN Japan announced on June 9 that it has decided to open a store in Okinawa Prefecture, which is the last store to be left in 47 prefectures nationwide.

7-ELEVEN, which opened a store in Tottori Prefecture in October 2015, has stores in 46 prefectures. Recently, it has revealed plans to open a store in Okinawa Prefecture, which is the last unopened area.

Prospect of exhibitors start during the 2019 fiscal year. It is planned to expand to about 250 stores in the next five years. A local subsidiary for smooth store management will be established in 2017, and it is expected that it will eventually be used as a transportation base for stores in Asian countries and will be used for the global expansion of 7-ELEVEN Premium.
