"Fresh Hop Fest 2016", an event where you can drink beer made from freshly harvested hops, will be held in various places from October 8th to October 23rd. Held for the first time this year.

Hops also known as the "soul of beer". High-quality hops are also produced in Japan, and the harvest season is around August. At the same event, you can compare the beer made by using the freshly picked hops without drying them.

On the day of the event, 19 popular domestic craft beer breweries (planned) will exhibit, and fresh hop beer made by each will be offered.


The Tokyo venue will be held from October 8th to October 10th at SPRING VALLEY BREWERY TOKYO. The price is 1,500 yen in advance and 1,800 yen on the day. Each has five 300-yen tickets spelled out and can be exchanged for beer or food. Advance tickets are on sale at the same store.

In addition, it will be held at the Tono venue in Iwate prefecture (October 8), the Osaka venue (October 15 and 16), and the Yokohama venue (October 22 and 23). Details will be announced on the official event website.
