To commemorate the 48th anniversary of "Gin no Suzu", which is popular as a "meeting spot" in the station, at the Ekinaka commercial facility "GRANSTA" on the first basement floor of JR Tokyo Station, on June 10th. Limited-time sweets with a silver bell motif will be on sale. The period is from May 23rd to June 12th.

"Silver bell 2016" is sold at Kyobashi Senbiya. A tart with a crispy and fragrant texture, and a soft meringue with raspberries and cassis. The tart dough contains custard cream. The price is 712 yen (tax included, same below). Limited to 30 pieces each day.

"Spuntino" is sold by the well-established Italian chocolate brand Caffarel. Gianduja chocolate cream sandwiched with fluffy cocoa chiffon dough. It is finished in a round shape with a silver bell as a motif. The price is 335 yen per piece.

"TOKYO Suzu Senbei Station Building BOX" is sold by Fujimido, a rice cracker shop in Katsushika, Tokyo. A popular bell rice cracker coated with an original caramel sauce for a limited time. The box depicts a silver bell and the Marunouchi station building at Tokyo Station. The price is 520 yen for 7 pieces.

The silver bell, which has been popular for about half a century, was first born on June 10, 1968. The first generation was made by hand by station staff using bamboo and Japanese paper. The silver bell currently installed is the 4th generation that was born in October 2007 when Gransta opened. Made of aluminum alloy, a melody that resembles the sound of a bell sounds at 0 minutes every hour.
