What to hide, I am one of Ayataka's "Nigori" fans. I was wondering what the first new flavor tasted like, so I took it seriously and compared it!
◆ The package is refreshing
Ayataka is dressed in a deep green package that seems to express the taste of mellow tea, while the mellowly tailored package is blue and has a refreshing summery hue . It is a refreshing design.

◆ "Umami" vs. "Refreshing sweetness"
Ayataka recommends "the taste of turbidity", while the mellow tailoring recommends "sweet and refreshing taste".
Both are said to be made by a method that makes use of the "traditional techniques" of tea masters that have been handed down at the Kamibayashi Harumatsu main store, but while Ayataka is carefully extracted with hot water at a high temperature, it is mellow. Tailoring seems to be extracted at a lower temperature. By changing the brewing method, the taste will also change.

Ayataka has a slight sweetness in its soft bitterness and deep umami. It's delicious to drink by itself, and it doesn't interfere with the taste of the meal, so it just repeats itself.
On the other hand, when you drink the mellow tailoring, it is fresher than the original and the aftertaste is refreshing! The sweetness is stronger than the astringency of tea, and the mouthfeel is mellow . Ayataka wants to take a sip slowly and enjoy the afterglow, while the mellow tailoring is refreshing to drink chilled!
