At the Ezaki Glico Corporate Museum Ezaki Memorial Hall, the second special exhibition "Glico Toys and Toy Designer Yuzo Kato" will be held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the opening of the museum, where valuable toys and design drawings that are not normally exhibited will be exhibited. , From August 1st to October 31st.

This time around, Yuzo Kato, a wooden toy designer, will be released. Approximately 100 prototypes made by Mr. Kato, design drawings and drawings at that time, and approximately 150 actual toys will appear. Mr. Kato's design has been adopted for 6 years since 1988, and it seems that simple and warm toys made of wood were very popular at that time.

In addition, there will be a new corner where you can actually pick up and play "toys of the time" that you cannot touch because they may be damaged or deteriorated.

In addition to this, about 4,000 Glico toys of the past, materials related to the history of Ezaki Glico and product development are on permanent display at the memorial hall.

The location is the head office of Ezaki Glico in Nishiyodogawa Ward, Osaka City. Admission is free. From Monday to Friday, telephone reservations are required by the day before, and there are three parts: 13:30, 14:30, and 15:30. Also, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, you can freely visit without reservation. The museum is open from 10:00 to 16:00, and the last admission is at 15:30. The museum will be closed on public holidays, Obon holidays, and the third Saturday of August.
