Mr. Naganuma prefers dark clothes because "dirt is not noticeable and it looks like a musician". He has received a maximum of four job questions a day, but he has no intention of quitting the vegetable walk.

Eating: Why did you start a vegetable walk?

Mr. Naganuma: In the summer of 2006, I saw a foreigner (commonly known as Chinese cabbage man) taking a walk in Chinese cabbage in Shin-Tokorozawa. I was shocked by that, and I thought that if I had the same appearance, I would be able to meet again, so I started a vegetable walk. I haven't met yet.

Eat: Then, when you've been carrying vegetables since 2006 ...?

Mr. Naganuma: It seems that it has become the current style, but I used to drag long onions as a "kappa samurai". If you include this, you may have been taking a walk with vegetables before Mr. Chinese cabbage (laughs).


Eating: Kappa Samurai. It is a word that cannot be ignored.

Mr. Naganuma: In 1998, the professional soccer club "Yokohama Flugels", which was a member of the J League at that time, was merged into Yokohama Marinos, and the team virtually disappeared. In order to support the movement against the merger that was taking place at that time, I started by dressing up as a kappa and trying to stand out. Instead of a sword, I was holding a long onion.

Eating: Kappa but long onion ...?

Mr. Naganuma: Cucumbers and eggplants are likely to bring "something in the other world", so I just eat them normally (laughs).

En-eating: Well, it's about to be Obon (laughs).

● Vegetables that have been taken for a walk are "eaten"

En-eating: On Twitter, I used to take radishes with me, but today it's corn.

Naganuma: Radish is heavy. Welsh onions immediately smell at this time of year. I often bring corn now. It's in season. By the way, broccoli is the most mysterious feeling when taking a walk. You will feel uplifted.

Eat: (...?). That was good. How do you name it?

Mr. Naganuma: "Radish" is Dai-chan, "Leek" is Negio, "Corn" is Tomoko, Tomomi, Tomoo, "Cauliflower" is Curry, "Broccoli" is Broly, "Carrot" is Kakarotto, etc. I often play with the names of vegetables, but some of them are influenced by Dragon Ball.


Eating: What do you do with the vegetables after the walk?

Naganuma: I'm eating. It's like taking a walk together and having it delicious when you deepen your affection (laughs).

Naganuma: This is a difficult question. Vegetables and women have different dimensions (laughs).

Mr. Naganuma: Ai Tokorozawa S is a community revitalization group that is oriented toward the humanity and spirit of downtown. People are gathering with a human spirit like Shitamachi Nagaya, saying, "Let's make Tokorozawa an interesting city as much as we can."

Mr. Naganuma: The CD was released successfully the other day in cooperation with the production of the CD by Mr. Darek Jackson, who was playing the bass in the band of Mr. Eikichi Yazawa. The album title is "SLIPPER MAN". It seems that sandals are called "slippers" in the United States.
