A chocolate named "Venus' Nipple"! A traditional pastry from Salzburg, Austria that looks and sounds too bold and exciting to be true!

The Viennese confectionary specialty store "Neues" (Minato-ku, Tokyo) will be offering a limited edition Valentine's Day sweet called "Venusbrüstchen. In Japanese, it means "nipple of Venus. What a bold name for a sweet!

Exciting Valentine's Day Sweets, "Venus' Nipples"

A smooth hemispherical candy with a pink protrusion on top of it. It looks completely like a "thing".

Inside is a soft marron paste with a hint of rum.

The name may sound scary, but it is a traditional Austrian pastry. Mozart, the famous composer, is said to have eaten this famous Salzburg confection. It also appears in the hit movie "Amadeus" (produced in 1984), which features Mozart.

The Noyes version is "white" due to the white chocolate, but there is also a black version in the real world. If you are planning to visit Austria, why don't you look for them?

The price is 1,200 yen (tax included) for two pieces in a crystal box. They will be sold at Noyes stores and online store (January 20 to February 15), and at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi "Sweets Collection" (February 3 to February 15).
