These adorably designed cakes are perfect for expressing your gratitude to your grandparents. The slightly bitter chocolate cream is combined with moist sponge and chocolate chips to accentuate the texture. A shortcake with a combination of red bean paste and fruit, with a home-cooked red bean paste sandwich and plenty of toppings. Several types of red bean paste (tsubu-an, chestnut red bean paste, and koshi-an), cooked by Chateraise using Hakushu's famous water, are used in the topping to give the taste of grains, in the sandwich to preserve the rich flavor of chestnuts, and in the mizu-yokan and whipped cream to take advantage of their smooth taste. Shine Muscat from Yamanashi, the fruit kingdom, is used for the decoration. Soft and light melt-in-your-mouth sponge sandwiched between whipped cream, sweet and sour strawberries, and La France in syrup.
