Frappuccino

Starbucks will once again offer the Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino, available now through Mobile Order & Pay. The regular release date is May 10. It will be available from May 10 to August 31. Sales will end as soon as they run out. The pre-sale period is May 8 and May 9. Tall size only, priced at 668 yen for take-out and 680 yen for in-store use (both tax included).

Strawberry Frappuccino

The "Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino" was originally developed by a Starbucks barista in England in 2003. It was the Strawberry Cream Frappuccino, inspired by the famous "Strawberries and Cream," which is made with strawberries and cream, a specialty when watching tennis at Wimbledon, England. The Strawberry flavor is one of the most popular and becoming a staple among the various unique Frappuccinos, and has long been a favorite Frappuccino to be enjoyed in early summer, changing its appearance little by little.

Topped with Starbucks' original strawberry sauce, milk, and whipped cream, this Frappuccino combines the cheek-quickening sweet and sour taste of strawberry sauce with the fruitiness, milkiness, and richness of smooth whipped cream. The bright red color of the marbleized mixture as the barista pours the finished Frappuccino into the cup is also gorgeous, and the contrast between the strawberry sauce and milk base gives the impression of a different flavor every time you drink it, not just in appearance.
