Godiva will launch a new chocolate assortment, "Godiva x Fukui Kare Assortment (8 pieces)," which will be available at limited Godiva stores, Godiva online stores, and GODIVA cafe in Fukui Prefecture and other locations from September 21. The "Carré Assortment (9 pieces)" and "Carré Assortment (20 pieces)" will also be available at Godiva stores and Godiva online store.

Godiva x Fukui Prefecture Carré Assortment (8 pieces)

The "Godiva x Fukui Prefecture Carré Assortment (8 pieces)" will be packaged in a "barottein," a special box for chocolates that originated in Belgium. Echizen lacquerware techniques are incorporated into the packaging. It is said to have been created in collaboration with a manufacturer of Echizen lacquerware, a traditional craft in Fukui Prefecture, the place that holds fond memories for Godiva Japan President Jérôme Chouchant.

The product lineup includes two types of the thin, square "Carré" series chocolates. The new "Kare Ruby," with its pink color and fruity flavor of sweet and sour ruby cacao, and the standard "Kare Milk," each containing 4 pieces. The retail price is 4,180 yen (tax included).

Carré Assortment (9 pieces)

KARAE Assortment (9 pieces) is a renewed set. In a package depicting cacao, the set includes three each of "Calais Milk," "Calais 50% Dark Cacao," and "Calais 72% Dark Cacao" to enjoy cacao to the fullest. The price is 1,404 yen.

CALET assortment (20 pieces)

KARAE Assortment (20 sheets) will also be renewed. The new assortment consists of 4 pieces of each of the following 5 types: Carré Ruby, Carré Milk, Carré 50% Dark Cacao, Carré 72% Dark Cacao, and Carré White. They are packaged in colors reminiscent of cacao fruit and delicately illustrated, and are reported to be useful as gifts throughout the year.
