Macaroon Green Tea" will go on sale at McDonald's cafe outlet Maccafe by Barista on February 22. The lineup also includes the "Macaron Box" and "Special Macaron Set" to enjoy at a discounted price.

Maccafe by Barista's macaron series is popular for its authentic taste that can be easily enjoyed from a single piece. In addition to the three regular flavors, a variety of limited-time flavors are offered every year.

The second limited time flavor for 2022 will be the return of Macaron Green Tea, which was first introduced in 2021 and was very popular. It is a Japanese original macaron with a crispy macaron dough that you can enjoy the texture and aroma of, and a cream sandwich with the bittersweet accent of green tea.


Priced at 150 yen (tax included, same below), it will be available until mid-May.

Macaron box

In addition to the regular flavors "Raspberry," "Vanilla," and "Chocolate," there are five limited-time flavors, "Green Tea" and "Citron," and you can choose your favorite six pieces to combine. The price is 800 yen, a 100 yen discount from buying individual items.

Special Macaron Set

A set of two macaroons of your choice and a M-size cafe latte (hot or iced). The price is 500 yen, a savings of 90 yen compared to purchasing them separately.
