From April 1, the price of various types of Umaibo sold by Yaokin will be revised from 10 yen to 12 yen (tax not included) for all 10 yen Umaibo products.

Umaibo price revision

The Umaibo has been loved for about 42 years since its launch in 1979. In order for children to enjoy choosing Umaibo even with their pocket money, we have stuck to the price of 10 yen per stick, and have continued our efforts to reduce costs in all aspects, including production, distribution, and management costs, in order to keep the price down.

However, in addition to the recent price hikes of corn, vegetable oil, and other raw materials, packaging materials, distribution costs, and labor costs have also risen significantly. In order to ensure a continuous and stable supply of our products, we have decided to revise the prices of our products starting with shipments on April 1.
