Country Mam (Funawa Imoyokan)" from Fujiya's "Country Mam" series is now available exclusively in Tokyo and the surrounding areas for 864 yen (tax included) for a pack of 16 pieces.

Country Ma'am (Funawa Imoyokan)" is a Country Ma'am supervised by "Funawa," a long-established Japanese confectionary store in Asakusa, Tokyo. It is inspired by the store's popular "Imoyokan" (sweet potato dumpling). The same sweet potato paste used for Funawa's Imoyokan is kneaded into the dough and baked to give it a traditional Funawa flavor.



The "moist" dough, typical of Country Ma'am, falls apart softly when you bite into it, spreading the sweetness and smoothness of the sweet potato. The sticky texture after biting into the dough is definitely like a sweet potato Yokan!


Also, toasting it lightly in the toaster makes it more moist and fragrant inside! If you bake it firmly, you can enjoy the taste of " Yaki Imoyokan," an arranged recipe made from Funawa's Imoyokan.
