The JIMOTO made series is a series that develops products that incorporate the local industries and materials in various parts of Japan. This time, we focused on "Tobe ware," which is said to have been opened in the middle of the Edo period (early 18th century), mainly in Tobe Town, Iyo District, Ehime Prefecture.

A mug made entirely by hand using the historic Umeyama kiln and the traditional Tobe ware manufacturing method. An original shape with an image of Toishiyama, where the raw material for Tobe ware is mined, and the mouth is squeezed upward. It is designed so that the "arabesque" looks impressive when you bring the cup to your mouth. By putting the names of Starbucks, Umeyama kiln (producer), and Chuyo (community) on the side, the connection with the area is expressed.
