Five sweets supervised by the long-established tea shop "Kanbayashi Shunshohonten" in Uji, Kyoto, which was founded 450 years ago, will be released on September 15th at each Circle K and Sunkus store.

Matcha melon bread is a melon bread that uses Uji matcha from the Uebayashi Harumatsu main store for the dough and whipped cream. The bittersweet taste of matcha gives it a deeper taste. Pearl sugar is kneaded into the biscuit dough, and you can enjoy the crispy surface and the soft texture inside. The price is 138 yen (tax included, same below).


Matcha Cream Anmitsu is anmitsu made with diced matcha agar that makes the most of the rich aroma of matcha and whipped cream with matcha. It is topped with red bean paste, pickled fruit in syrup (mandarin oranges, pineapple, cherry), and shiratama. The price is 298 yen.


Matcha Warabimochi is made by sprinkling fragrant matcha powder on Warabimochi. You can also enjoy it with the attached black honey. The price is 260 yen.


Matcha cream puff is a "double" cream puff with matcha cream and whipped cream in the choux pastry. By adding Western liquor, the flavor of matcha is enhanced. The price is 150 yen.


Matcha pudding that melts in the kiln is a pudding with a "melting texture" that is finished by adding matcha and milk. You can enjoy the bitterness and aroma of matcha. The price is 198 yen.
