This cupcake will be released as part of the reconstruction assistance for the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The chocolate dough with a light texture is iced with vanilla butter cream and topped with fresh raspberries.

Magnolia Bakery's New York store sold "The Japan Cupcakes" after the 2011 earthquake, and reportedly delivered a portion of the proceeds to the affected areas as a donation. It is said that a part of the proceeds (100 yen per piece) of the cupcakes to be released in Japan will be sent to the disaster area through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

In addition to Magnolia Bakery Omotesando, this product will be sold at the following limited-time shops (the sales period in parentheses).
