At each Burger King (BK) store, "CHILLI CHEESE WHOPPER" using a lot of new sauce "Chilli Meat" will be released on May 20th. Limited time until late June. The single item price is 690 yen (tax included, same below).

This is a beef patty grilled on an open fire, layered with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sliced onions, and sandwiched with chili meat, ketchup, and mayonnaise in a 5-inch (about 13 cm) bun. Along with this, "CHILLI CHEESE WHOPPER Jr." (490 yen) using 4-inch (about 9 cm) buns will also be on sale.


The newly developed chili meat sauce is a “eating sauce” made by slowly boiling minced beef, chicken, and pork in tomato sauce with several kinds of spices and garlic. It is said that the mild spiciness enhances the taste of the meat so that even people who are not good at spicy foods can easily eat it.
