Tsukiji Gindako stores will sell the newest addition to the Luxury Negi-Dako series, "Ginger is the Key! Lemon Ponzu" will be available at Tsukiji Gindako stores for a limited time starting July 18 (except at some stores). The price is 734 yen (tax included) for 8 pieces per boat. Tax rate and price differ for in-store consumption.

The "Luxury Negi-Dako" series is very popular during this season when temperatures rise and appetites wane. The key ingredient of this new series is "ginger. The "Lemon Ponzu", which was very popular last year (2022), has been enhanced with the flavor of ginger.


The hot takoyaki is topped with shaved shavings, two kinds of green onions (kujo-negi and shiro-negi), shredded sweet-and-sour ginger, and fragrant roasted white sesame seeds. The "special ginger lemon ponzu sauce (sachet)" using "grated ginger from Kochi" and grated radish (sachet) are added in a special cup, and just before eating, squeeze the "cut lemon" to enhance the fresh lemon aroma and sour taste. The aroma and sourness of the fresh lemon will enhance the taste.
