I tried two new products from the " New York Chicken Burgers " lineup launched by Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)! I tried two of the new "New York Chicken Burgers" products released by Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC): the "Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burger" and the "Rich Onion BBQ Chicken Burger". They are priced individually at 500 yen each (tax included).

New York Chicken Burgers Spicy Delicious Buffalo Chicken Burger

The "Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burger" is a burger consisting of chicken (boneless Kentucky) topped with a special buffalo sauce and sandwiched on a bun with lettuce and sliced cheese. It has 470 calories.


The chicken is indeed amazing! Even though it is sandwiched in the bun, you can feel the crunchy texture of the batter and the punchy, spicy flavor of the chicken as the star of the burger...or so you think! Spicy~! The special buffalo sauce is hotter than expected! A slightly sour hot spiciness dominates your mouth, hee!


However, the melted cheese and creamy mayo sauce sandwiched together enveloped the spiciness and made it a little milder, so I was able to firmly enjoy the "delicious spiciness". Fried chicken and spicy sauce go so well together. It was a perfect summer burger that made me want a scotch cola.

New York Chicken Burgers "Koku-Yami Onion BBQ Chicken Burger

The "Koku-Yami Onion BBQ Chicken Burger" is a boneless Kentucky burger with onion rings, sliced cheese, lettuce and special honey BBQ sauce, sandwiched in a bun. It has 551 calories.


It's soooo good when you scarf down the chicken, fried onions, and even the cheese all at once! The juicy chicken, fried onions, and creamy richness of the cheese meld together in your mouth and are already superb. The slightly sweet and savory special honey BBQ sauce also goes great! This sauce is too good to pass up...I wish they would sell it..!


Though both

burgers

were delicious, I personally recommend the "Rich Onion BBQ Chicken Burger"! The dynamic flavor and BBQ aroma flowed into my mouth like a torrent, and I felt like I was in New York City even though I was in Japan.


The buns, which are common to both burgers, are delicious. They are fluffy, savory, and have a strong elasticity, so they don't get crushed when you hold them in your hands and eat them, and they stay fluffy until the end. It is no exaggeration to say that they are the driving force behind this burger.

At first glance, I thought it was rather small. But when I tried it, I found it to be a very filling, hearty, and satisfying burger. If you buy a set of drinks as well, I would recommend a Coke, ginger ale, or other sparkling soda. Enjoy the burger in the most American way possible!
