YOJIYA CAFE Ocha no Crepe, a crepe specialty store produced by YOJIYA CAFE

YOJIYA CAFE Ocha no Crepe, a crepe specialty store produced by YOJIYA CAFE using Uji green tea and carefully selected ingredients, will open on November 30. This is a To go-only store.

Founded 116 years ago, YOJIYA has been loved by Kyoto's Hanamachi district for its stage makeup, and offers a wide range of products including the popular Aburatorigami (oil absorbent paper), basic cosmetics and cosmetics. The YOJIYA Cafe, which was born out of the hospitality of YOJIYA, currently has two locations in Kyoto City. Now, "YOJIYA CAFE Ocha no Crepe" has been established as a To go-only crepe specialty store.

The "Ocha Crepe [Matcha]" uses matcha green tea from Uji, Kyoto, in the crepe batter, cream, and shiratama (white rice balls). The crepe dough is made from an original blend of two types of flour to give it a firm texture. The crepe is made with matcha green tea white beans, matcha green tea cream, and plain white cream blended with three kinds of fresh cream. In addition, the original pie, baked in the store every morning, is added as an accent.

The crepe is topped with an illustration of a tea whisk and a tea bowl. The crepes were developed based on the concept of "elegant matcha green tea" and are carefully sized so that they can be eaten before or after a meal, with the goal of creating a crepe that you will want to eat again and again.

The store is located at the southeast corner of Nijo Fuyacho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City. Business hours are from 11:00 to 18:00. As part of the opening campaign, the first 500 customers to arrive will receive a free mini-size blotting paper.
