Beard Papa's "Warabimochi Shoe"
I bought a warabimochi shoe

Beard Papa's "Warabimochi Shoe" is on sale for a limited time, so I tried it. Although it is cream puff, it tastes like Japanese sweets.

Warabimochi shoe (230 yen, tax included) is a menu limited to August. It was said that the shoe had plenty of soybean flour and the cream had transparent warabimochi, but when I cracked the inside, I couldn't tell at first glance where the warabimochi was.

Warabimochi is hard to see, but you can see it when you eat it.

When I scoop up the cream with a spoon, I can see something that looks like transparent warabimochi, but it's still not clear.

When I try to eat it, the flavor of soybean flour on the shoe tickles my nose. The cream has a clear taste of warabimochi, but the lumpy texture that I had imagined does not touch the tongue so much, giving the impression of a soft jelly. It seems to stretch softly like mochi, and claims its existence to the extent that it does not impair the smoothness of the cream.

While there was a refreshing feeling like eating chilled warabimochi, the sweetness of the crispy shoe and the moist cream was the Western confectionery itself, and it was a little interesting experience.
