I found a sweet "Double Cream Sandwich-Custard & Whipped-" that looks exactly like this at Sunkus. Isn't there two melons that look exactly like shiitake mushrooms?


A few days later, I found Doppelganger at the Daily Yamazaki, which I happened to stop by. This is also a "chiffon sandwich whip & custard" with a notch like shiitake mushrooms.


At that time, even though I had no plans to buy anything, I turned to the Daily Yamazaki without permission, which may have been the news of insects.

That's why I found sweets that look exactly like that, so I decided to let them meet together. In addition, 7-ELEVEN's "Sweet-style moist cake," which I had secretly thought to be "shiitake-ish," was added to the list, and a total of four "shiitake sweets" were purchased at each convenience store. Now, if you line them up in a row, it will look like a quadruple!

When you try it, you will be greeted by an elegant texture that melts moistly without any dryness. Butter flavor and gentle sweetness that spreads as you chew. After this nostalgic sweetness disappears, a little saltiness remains in the mouth ...


Actually, I like this sweet-style cake as much as I usually buy and eat it, but when I first ate it, I felt "like the egg boro I ate when I was a kid." Gentle sweetness and fragility that melts quickly. I think adults as well as children love this taste.

The silky cake dough and the smooth cream go great together! The feeling that everything melts on your tongue at the same time makes you feel as if you are eating high-end sweets from a specialty store, even though it is a low-priced convenience store.

This is also a dessert with whipped cream and custard cream sandwiched between two pieces of dough. The size was the largest of the four collected this time, and obviously only one package was swollen. You are protected.

The chiffon fabric that holds plenty of air is fluffy! The thickness of one sheet is about 1.5 cm, and it has soft elasticity. The sweetness that makes you feel the richness of the egg is a taste that reminds you of castella. The whipped cream is so airy that you can hear a light sound when you put it in your mouth, perhaps in response to the fluffy chiffon dough.


When this whipped cream and plenty of custard are spread with chiffon dough, the fluffy, shuffled, and melty texture causes a chemical reaction, and the "in the first place" feeling that is often found in chiffon disappears, making it a moist and melty mouthfeel. !!
