A questionnaire survey on ice cream and ice cream that was eaten this summer was conducted for 1,000 men and women over the age of 15 living in three prefectures (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama) (Cross Marketing survey).

What was the ice cream that was eaten (or impressed) by the most people this summer? It will be released at once!

◆ “What is ice cream?” The first thing that comes to mind

First of all, when I asked about the first thing that came to my mind when I heard that it was ice cream (or frozen dessert), I got this result.

1st place: Haagen-Dazs (378 votes)
2nd place: Gari-gari-kun (153 votes)
3rd place: Super Cup (44 votes)
3rd place: Sou (44 votes)

Haagen-Dazs reigned at the top, far behind the 2nd place and below! Looking at the number of votes, we can see that there is more than one in three people (!) Who say "Ice is Haagen-Dazs". You could call this "Don of the ice cream world" anymore.


Familiar Garigari is ranked in 2nd place. Rather than eating it all year long, it's a type of ice cream that makes you want to eat it in the hot summer. And in 3rd place was the Super Cup, which has a good reputation for cospa, and the ice cream with a novel texture, Sou, which has a crispy texture and a smooth mouthfeel.

2nd place: Choco Monaca Jumbo (29%)
3rd place: Gari-gari (26%)
4th place: Super Cup (23%)
5th place: Pino (21%)

After all strong, Haagen Dazs! It has the highest degree of recognition, and it seems that the most people ate it this summer. Once you know the taste, you are already captivated. Imagine that there are many "Hagen addicts" who want to eat even if the price is a little high.


Next, Choco Monaca Jumbo, which was 5th in the above-mentioned awareness questionnaire, came in 2nd. It has a lot of volume, so it's a perfect ice cream for those who want to eat it together with its deliciousness. I often ate chocolate monaca jumbo instead of breakfast on summer mornings.


◆ Gari-gari-kun is popular with men, and Pino is popular with women.

By gender, the overwhelming majority of women answered that they ate Haagen-Dazs. More than 50% of female respondents said they ate Haagen-Dazs this summer. This is followed by Choco Monaca Jumbo, followed closely by Pino (both less than 30%). Since pino is bite-sized, one of the popular factors is that it is easy for women to eat.


On the other hand, when it comes to men, only 30% of the respondents answered Haagen-Dazs. It's a little less than women, but it's still number one. Choco Monaca Jumbo was in second place by a small margin, and Gari-gari was in third place by a small margin (both are about 30%).


Rich and creamy ice cream may be popular with women, and ice cream that can be eaten refreshingly by men may tend to be popular. In addition, Choco Monaca Jumbo, which is delicious and has a good cost performance, seems to have a stable approval rating for both men and women.

Actually, I'm a big fan of PARM. Not only the ice cream inside, but the chocolate that coats it is as smooth as silk. The taste is rich and delicious, but the price is very reasonable. I am indebted to you regardless of the season. That was my personal opinion.


How high was your favorite ice cream? This time it was the ranking of the ice cream I ate in the summer, but in the fall and winter it may be a little different. In the hot summer, the ice cream that soaks into your thirsty body is good, but in the cold winter, the ice cream that is warmed up with a warm kotatsu is the best!
