The event "Yamanashi Wineries Fair-Taste the wine of the geographical indication" Yamanashi "-" will be held at Roppongi Hills (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on December 5th and 6th.


Yamanashi Prefecture is one of Japan's leading wine producing regions. In 2013, it became the first Japanese wine producing region to be designated as a geographical indication "Yamanashi" by the country, and became a brand producing region such as "Bordeaux" and "Champagne" in France.

About 20 companies and about 80 brands of wine will be exhibited at the event. In addition to tasting wines carefully selected from those that have cleared the standards set by the geographical indication "Yamanashi", wines that are difficult to obtain in Tokyo are also sold. Workshops by guests and wineries are also planned.


The venue is the 5th floor hall of Hollywood Plaza in Roppongi Hills. The first part will be held from 17:00 to 19:30 on the 5th, the second part will be held from 11:00 to 13:30 on the 6th, and the third part will be held from 15:00 to 17:30.
