The day starts with "breakfast". If you don't eat well in the morning, you won't get the energy to work or play. But maybe some people are too busy (sleepy) to go out without having breakfast?

4th place: Eat 3-4 days a week (4.5%)
5th place: 1-2 days a week (3.4%)

About 90% of the people seem to "eat breakfast" at least one day a week. The first place in Dantotsu is "Eat every day", which has won more than 70% of the votes. Among them, more than 80% of people in their 50s or older answered that they "eat every day".

Easy-to-eat "bread" is popular
Easy-to-eat "bread" is popular

Bypassing "Japanese breakfast" such as rice, miso soup, and natto, "bread" got about 70% of the votes and became the top . It was a little surprising that rice was not the number one, but perhaps one of the reasons why bread is chosen is that it requires less time to cook and is easy to eat. By the way, miso soup was ranked 7th (26.2%) and natto was ranked 9th (23.7%).

Looking at each region, rice was more popular than bread in Tohoku, and "Japanese food" such as egg dishes, miso soup, and natto was more popular than in other regions. On the other hand, in Kinki, there are more breads than in other areas, and less rice and natto.

Maybe some people say breakfast while walking?
Maybe some people say breakfast while walking?

By age group, about 50-60% of men in their 20s and 40s answered "within 10 minutes". On the other hand, for women, the older they are, the less "within 15 minutes" they have, and the younger they are, the less time they spend on breakfast.

By the way, 0.5% of the respondents answered "more than an hour" as an aristocrat. ... I would like to enjoy breakfast as elegantly as I can, but rather than getting up early and eating breakfast slowly, the desire to sleep for as long as one minute and one second wins.

5th place: Looking at newspapers and magazines (8.0%)

It seems that there are not so many old-fashioned (?) Situations where the wife licks her husband who is eating rice while reading the newspaper, and about 50% of the respondents answered that they often eat alone. I was relieved that everyone was pretty sloppy rice.

There were some nice answers such as "Enjoying conversation with people who eat together" (7.0%), but "Looking at a computer, mobile phone / smartphone" (5.8%) and "Preparing to go out and doing household chores" There were also answers that symbolized the busyness of modern people, such as "while" (5.8%). However, while looking at your computer or smartphone, it may be an action you take because of your meal.

Regarding the answer that was ranked 9th, "Even if there are people who eat together, eat silently" (3.3%), the couple who have been with me for many years will surely talk with their hearts without saying words. I will believe that I am eating.
