Today (July 22nd), the new " American Home Made Donuts " has been released by Krispy Kreme Donuts (KKD)! As the name suggests, it is an arrangement of American classic sweets into donuts.

Three types have appeared. "Mother apple pie" which is the image of apple pie, "New York cheesecake" which is the image of cheesecake, and "Red cherry pie" which is the image of cherry pie. Among them, mother apple pie and red cherry pie can be enjoyed as if they were handmade at home in the United States.

The En-eating editorial department also wanted to check the "American mom's taste", so I got 3 kinds of donuts at once!

The first thing I tried was the New York cheesecake, which I can imagine the taste to some extent (it will definitely be delicious). A donut with no holes filled with cream cheese filling and topped with almond crunch and graham cookies.

The moment you bite into the soft and soft dough, the slight acidity and the aroma of Graham cookies spread in your mouth. Following this is the richness and sweetness of rich cream cheese. A generously packed filling wraps your tongue comfortably. A dish that is firmly sweet and has a high degree of satisfaction with the stomach.

Next is the red cherry pie, which has the image of a "cherry pie" that is not very familiar in Japan. The ring-shaped donut is decorated with a pink napage containing cherry juice and a sauce with cherry pulp.

When you stretch it, the scent of fresh American cherries is fluffy. After the sweetness of the donut, the sweet and sour cherry flavor spreads. Since the juice and pulp are used, the taste and gorgeous aroma of the cherry itself are properly utilized. The combination of donuts and cherries is rare, but this is an ant!

Finally, the mother apple pie. A cookie is laid in a ring-shaped donut hole, and a diced apple is placed on it. Topped with cinnamon sugar, caramel sauce and graham cookies.

The diced apple with a crispy texture goes well with the donut dough that melts in your mouth. The raisins are also combined, and the taste is quite authentic apple pie. The fragrant cinnamon and caramel scents also add to the deliciousness of handmade products, as if they were made by a genuine American Maman (although I have never eaten them)!

Of the three varieties I ate this time, the one I liked the most was the mother apple pie. When you hear the word apple pie, you might think of it as being eaten in the fall or winter, but the apple pie that you can enjoy with cold iced coffee in the summer is also a good thing.

For those who like sweets, we recommend New York cheesecake, and for those who want to enjoy the "American" taste that is rarely seen in Japan, we recommend Red Cherry Pie!
