"Fruit sandwich" with fruit and fresh cream sandwiched between bread. In fact, it originated in Japan and has a history of nearly 100 years, which was already eaten in the early Showa period.

Excuse me, when I open it, almost all of the fruit can be seen from the cross section. The back is in a bare bread state and feels a little unreliable.

When you bite into it, a big fruit occupies your mouth. Not to mention fresh kiwi, the crisp texture is alive and well in the syrup-attached yellow peach and pineapple. There is no unnatural sweetness, and the fruit juice with a fresh sweetness that seems to be fruit leads to a soft bread that melts in the mouth. The whipped cream is light and mainly fruity.

The lack of contents, which had been a concern, was almost resolved because the cream was spread by being pushed by the bread as we continued to eat. However, the last bite and lid is only bread, so you may want to pay attention to the balance when eating. There is no feeling that the volume is inferior to that of other companies, and it is a product with good cost performance.

◆ Lawson "Mixed Fruit Sandwich"

The contents are whipped cream, custard cream, pineapple, white peach, yellow peach, kiwifruit, and strawberry. It's also colorful to look at. The price is 320 yen, which is the highest among the three companies.

When you open it, you will see a large pineapple in the part that cannot be seen from the cross section. You can observe that the whipped cream is applied to one side of the bread and the custard is applied to the other side of the bread.

The whip that sticks out of the cross section at the moment of biting. I'm glad to see the proof that it's packed in. Each bite-changing fruit is sized and juicy, unimaginable from its understated cross-section. In particular, the white peach that extends to the back gives off a mellow juice when chewed, creating a gorgeous bite.

Combined with the richness of the custard cream, it has a slightly rich taste. It is a dish that is closer to sweets.

◆ FamilyMart "Fruit Sandwich (Mango)"

A new product released on July 7th. You can see the mango pulp and the white whipped cream that are just spilling from the cross section. The contents are decoration whipped cream, mango, and sauce with mango. The price is 298 yen.

When I opened it, I found mango pulp and plenty of whipped cream on one side. Mango sauce is stuffed on the other side.

Plenty of whipped cream that makes a damp noise between the breads every time you bite. The refreshing sweetness of the mango sauce goes well with it, and the bread feels better in the mouth. The sweetness of the mango flesh is modest, but you can enjoy the juiciness and rich taste peculiar to mango.

The whipped cream and mango sauce were delicious enough, and the bread had a slight sweetness, so I enjoyed it even after the ingredients were gone. It's not standard, but I personally recommend it. Probably seasonal, so if you are interested, please do so as soon as possible.

■ Summary
While keeping the basics of moist bread, juicy fruits, and smooth whipped cream, the fruit sandwiches at convenience stores are slightly different when compared. The cool coldness is perfect for the hot season when you lose your appetite. Add it to your diet and treat options this summer.
