Mitarashi dango with a chewy texture is limited to the Chugoku-Shikoku area. The dumplings have a chewy texture with a roasted surface, and a thick sauce made by combining kelp soup stock with natural brewed dark soy sauce in wooden barrels. The price is 110 yen.

Umami Dango Mitarashi Dango is a Mitarashi Dango limited to the Kyushu area. The deeply browned dumplings are sprinkled with a rich sauce that combines kelp, miscellaneous dashi stock and Oita prefecture's soy sauce "Fujijin Hatsu Akane". The price is 130 yen.
