The beer garden of the Churrasco specialty store "Barbaccoa" opened in Shinagawa, Tokyo on May 11th. Its name is BARBACOA BEER GARDEN. It is one of the beer gardens to watch this summer, as it was flooded with inquiries as soon as information came out.

Churrasco is the Brazilian version of BBQ. At Barbacoa, meat and vegetables are stabbed on long skewers and slowly baked in an oven called Schlasquero. The seasoning is basically rock salt only. It is served as an all-you-can-eat along with the salad bar. The fragrantly baked meat (beef, chicken, pork, mutton ...) is delicious and can be eaten as much as you want.

Isn't it great to enjoy such delicious meat and beer outside? The eating editorial department, who couldn't help but went to Shinagawa.

Barbacoa Beer Garden is located on the 3rd floor of Wing Takanawa WEST. Cross the pedestrian crossing in front of the Takanawa exit (west exit) of Shinagawa station, and take the elevator (or stairs) on the far left of McDonald's to the 3rd floor. When you get off and look back, there is an entrance to the venue. Until last year, another store was operating a beer garden, so you may have visited there.

When you go out from the elevator hall and go down the stairs, the staff will guide you to your seat. And they come to pick up the order, so it feels like a typical restaurant.

The menu includes all-you-can-drink and courses, as well as single dishes and drinks.

The food menu is mainly grilled meat that is typical of Barbacoa. You can enjoy the same meat that is usually served at the restaurant, such as pickagna (beef ichibo), porco (pork loin) and furango (chicken thigh). The "barbecue plate" (3,000 yen), which is a combination of these three types, is the most popular menu. Due to the facilities, it is not baked while rotating like a restaurant, but it is said that it is slowly baked using a grill for Churrasco.

Since it is baked slowly, excess oil will fall off and it will be browned.

In addition, Brazilian dishes other than meat, such as the Brazilian version of croquette "Kibe" and "Coxinha". A standard beer garden, assorted edamame and french fries (1,600 yen) is also available.

Looking at the drink, the beer is Kirin Ichiban Shibori (700 yen). In addition to the same stout (750 yen), half & half (750 yen), various highballs (500 yen and up), sour (500 yen), wine (500 yen), soft drinks (450 yen and up), normal Lineup. In addition, the cocktail "Caipirinha" (650 yen) using the typical Brazilian liquor "Cachaça" and the frozen mojito (700 yen) are also available. There were also different types of sour, such as "Marakuja sour", which is shochu divided by passion fruit juice, and "Mate tea high," which is also divided by mate tea.

And there are two courses. A total of 10 dishes including a beer garden course (3,000 yen) with assorted snacks and barbecue plates (7 dishes in total), a garden salad, fried rice (Brazilian fried rice), and thick-sliced bacon will be offered. "Barbacco course" (4,000 yen). And for the course only, you can get 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink (1,500 yen).

Since the course is a combination of single item menus, you can order even if you do not make a reservation. In addition, reservations are for courses only (2-hour system), and it is not possible to reserve seats only.

The En-eating editorial department ordered a barbecue plate that most people order and an assortment of snacks. Two items that have the same content as the beer garden course.

The barbecue plate, which is a set of 3 kinds of meat, is a gutsuri menu where you can eat barbacoa meat, which is usually eaten only in a sliced state, in chunks. Beer goes on ...! Although it looks small in the photo, the thick chunks that are about the size of a palm have a considerable impact when you actually see them. Is there about 100g (3.53oz) each? It was a volume that seemed to be just right when eaten by 2 or 3 people. Of course, it is also an ant to eat one plate per person.

Even with these two products alone, there was more volume than it looked, and it was a satisfying amount. If you are not satisfied, try other menus such as assorted 3 kinds of sausages (1,800 yen). If you have a large number of people, the Barbaccoa course, which has more dishes, seems to be better. Although the name "course" is attached, it may be more like a "set menu" than the ones in which the dishes are served in order.

Business hours are from 17:00 to 23:00 (15:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), until August 21st. There are constant inquiries, and it is said that reservations are already full on Friday in June. On weekdays, it gets crowded around 18:00, so even if you visit without a reservation, you don't know if you can enter. On holidays, many customers enter from 15:00 when it is open, and it seems that congestion continues after 17:00.

Perhaps because of its location, it seems to be crowded with people who come to the end of work on weekday nights. In the evenings and holidays, various people come to the store, such as families, people who stop by for shopping, and people who are staying at a nearby hotel. Of course, the appearance of foreigners.

And in the case of a space without a roof like this, you're wondering what happens when it rains. In the case of the store, if it is decided that it will not be open, such as when it has been raining since before the store opened, it will contact the person who made the reservation at that point. If it comes down after opening, it will be left to the customer's own judgment. It seems that it is also an ant to continue by holding an umbrella.

Barbacco Beer Garden, one of the hottest beer gardens this summer. The holding period is shorter than other beer gardens, so if you want to go, we recommend that you make a reservation early. There should be few beer gardens where "meat is the leading role"!
