Today, April 17, "Itamae Sushi Shinjuku Toho Building" opens on the first floor of the new complex "Shinjuku Toho Building" that opened on the site of the former Shinjuku Koma Theater. At the same store, you can taste the new "Godzilla" (1,980 yen), which is named after the "life-sized Godzilla" that appeared on the roof of the building.

Itamae Sushi is a sushi chain that offers a menu that focuses on "domestic ingredients" procured from all over the country at a "reasonable" price. We have a lineup of various seafood dishes using carefully selected ingredients such as sashimi, grilled food, boiled food, and rice bowl, including rice balls that start at 58 yen.

When the Shinjuku Toho Building store opened, the newly developed "Godzilla Roll" is a "giant thick sushi roll" with the image of Godzilla's back. Its size is more than three times that of regular thick sushi rolls.

Paprika, avocado, and green pepper miso are mixed with shrimp tempura, wrapped in seaweed, fried in oil, then wrapped in rice, and then fried again. "Curry sauce" is topped with seasoning. You can enjoy crispy fried thick-rolled tempura with spicy spicy sauce.

By the way, even if this Godzilla roll is not on the menu table yet, it seems that you can make it if you ask Mr. Itamae.
