Mt. Fuji melon bread is a limited edition item that can only be bought at Umihotaru. Chiba sweet potatoes are kneaded with "Red Azuma" and are baked by wrapping "milk custard cream" using milk from Chiba prefecture. The top of the mountain is topped with powdered sugar snow makeup.
When I cut it, a pink sweet potato dough reminiscent of spring appeared from under the biscuit dough!
When I grabbed it, the mountain surface was a little hard and had a crispy texture. On the other hand, the inside has a soft and fluffy mouthfeel, and the two textures with gaps enhance the aroma! After that, the sweetness of Beni Azuma is what follows.
There is plenty of sweet magma and milk custard cream in the dough. The milky sweetness and slight acidity further enhance the taste of Beni Azuma. Yeah, it ’s delicious!
... or that? What is the element of "melon" ...?
Although it was a melon bread, there was no element of "melon" in its shape or taste, but anyway, Mt. Fuji melon bread and "the deliciousness of Chiba" were condensed tightly and it was very delicious. When the weather is nice, why not drive to Umihotaru and enjoy Mt. Fuji melon bread as a snack while gazing at the magnificent Mt. Fuji?
