A travel cafe "Lanikai Terrace" where you can enjoy such a fun time has opened in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo. Here, you can enjoy delicious Hawaiian food and drinks, and you can also consult with a concierge who is a "travel professional".
This shop, which I'm curious about, the author who loves traveling also went to visit!
Ranikai Terrace is a Hawaiian cafe produced by the travel agency "Tabikobo". The large windows, which are said to have the image of Hawaii's "Lanikai Beach," which was selected as "the most beautiful beach in the United States," let the sun shine brightly. On the white-based wall, there is also a wonderful painting drawn by a Hawaiian artist.
When I suddenly looked at the back of the store, a travel concierge was sitting at the counter. From 10 am to 6:30 pm, you can consult about travel while eating at the counter or at your own seat (the cafe is open from 7 am to 11 pm).
If you're hungry, you can't plan a battle or a trip! So, first of all, get hungry. I ordered "Loco Moco" (1,100 yen) from the lunch menu and "Chocolate Banana Souffle Cake" (950 yen) from the sweets menu.
By the way, the lunch menu also comes with a buffet where you can eat as much bread, salad, drinks and french fries as you like.
● "Loco Moco" with 100% beef hamburger steak
Loco moco with 100% beef hamburger and soft-boiled egg. The hamburger steak is tightly packed, and when you insert a knife, you will feel the elasticity. The rugged shape unique to "hands" is also lovely!
The hamburger steak has a luxurious texture that is both soft and chewy. The savory flavor of the charred surface and the umami of the juicy gravy spread throughout your mouth. The "feeling of eating meat" is amazing in both taste and texture!
● Pancake like souffle "Chocolate Banana Souffle Cake"
"Souffle cake" is a hybrid sweet of souffle and pancake that is baked after ordering. Speaking of Hawaii, pancakes are said to be an original menu created from the idea that "standard pancakes are boring!" "Chocolate Banana Souffle Cake" is served with whipped cream, sliced banana, and chocolate sauce as a topping.
The souffle cake dough, which is said to be made with a focus on the golden ratio of fresh cream and eggs, has a simple taste but is rich. Moist and fluffy, with a light texture that feels like a pancake and sponge cake. It goes well with thick cream. Plenty of bananas and a very satisfying taste!
In addition to the lunch menu, there is a lineup of various dishes that give you a Hawaiian feel, such as the popular tuna-based menu "Poki-don" and the thick "spam-don" on top. The drink menu also includes Hawaiian beers such as "Kona Beer Big Wave" and "Aloha Beer".
Now, when you're full, ask the concierge for a trip. You can bring your iPad to the table and spread the guidebook or pamphlet with a cup of coffee after a meal.
Consultation fee is free. If you decide to apply for a trip, you will pay for it. This time, I decided to just consult and bring back the plan once. Even so, probably because I saw the pamphlet while eating Hawaiian food in a Hawaiian space, my desire to travel increased.
By the way, the third cafe produced by TABIKOBO is Ranikai Terrace. "Brooklyn Mills" with the theme of New York is open in Ikebukuro, and "Cucina Emilia Romagna" with the theme of Emilia Romagna of Italy is open in Shiodome.
For the upcoming Spring Break and Golden Week, it may be fun to plan your trip while eating delicious food at the Travel Cafe.
――Of course, even people who have no plans to travel can enjoy their meals, so don't worry!
