On January 28, KitKat's sweets specialty store "KitKat Chocolatery" opened its first store in the Kansai area, "KitKat Chocolatery Daimaru Kyoto Store" (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City). This time, the first "cafe" in the chocolate tree will also be added.

At the same store, "KitKat Sublim Bitter", which is a signboard product of chocolate, will be sold, and "KitKat Chocolatery Special Ume" (400 yen for 4 pieces), which is a new "Japanese flavor", will be sold ahead of other stores. Will be released in advance. You can enjoy the balance between the refreshing acidity of plums and the sweetness of chocolate. All stores will go on sale on February 2nd.


In addition, limited edition products from the Daimaru Kyoto store are also available.

"KitKat Chocolatery Special Kyoto Assortment" is a total of 12 pieces of 4 types of "Plum", "Strawberry Maple", "Matcha & Kinako" and "Ginger". The price is 1,350 yen. The package is designed with a "five-storied pagoda" that has the image of Kyoto.


A collaboration product with the 4-member dance-rock band DISH // (Dish) "KitKat x DISH // KitKat with special collaboration CD" will also be released in a Kyoto limited package. A CD and 3 "KitKat Mini" are included in the set, and the price is 600 yen. There is a space on the back of the package where you can write a message, and it is also recommended as a gift.


At the attached cafe, "Chef Takagi's special" sweets and drinks are offered. The menu includes "KitKat Sable", which is made by kneading and baking crushed KitKat, and "KitKat Parfait", which is a chocolate soft serve ice cream containing original chocolate from Le Patissier Takagi and topped with KitKat.

In addition, you can enjoy coffee brewed at Nestlé's cafe machine "Nestlé Dolce Gusto" and Uji matcha latte, and you can also eat products purchased at the store on the spot.
