Jamie's Italian restaurant in London, England, is run by Jamie's Italian . I finally went to this shop that I've always been interested in!
Jamie's Italian is a popular restaurant in the local area, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. This time, I made a reservation for lunch from the website, so I was immediately guided to my seat as soon as I entered the store.
A menu with letters lined up in a row. I can read it because it is in English, but I can't imagine what kind of food it is. Yes, I don't even have a photo. "JAMIE'S SAUSAGE PAPPARDELLE" (starting at £ 7.45), named after Jamie, was the only choice for buying CD jackets. In addition, I ordered about two appetizers and "Today's Special Pasta" recommended by the clerk.
Soon after, the first appetizer arrived. Rich, slightly quirky sheep cheese "Pecorino Sardo" is paired with crispy tortilla-style bread. A little sweet chili sauce stimulates your tongue and the beer goes on.
The second appetizer is a baguette topped with thinly cut celery and loosened crab meat and topped with Italian parsley. The salt, which has been roughly ground, brings out the best taste of the crab.
Then, the main pasta is finally here! First of all, I will try "JAMIE'S SAUSAGE PAPPARDELLE" which I chose in writing.
PAPPARDELLE is a long, fluttering ribbon-shaped pasta. The sausage is sloppy and has a moderate texture, and the more you chew it, the more delicious it becomes! Parmesan cheese adds richness and mellowness to a spicy sauce like curry.
By the way, this pasta, "folds" part entwines plenty of sauce, it is very easy to eat. I bought a jacket (?), But this is the correct answer!
When I thought that something was screaming with each bite, there was something like a small seed in it. Perhaps this is a fennel seed.
And finally, I'll try a special pasta that looks bright red. The twisted short pasta is Casarecci.
The red sauce tastes like tomato sauce and meat sauce added together. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the spicy spiciness from the back of the sweetness. The tomato-like texture of the chewy pasta is insanely juicy and delicious!
Pasta, herbs, and sauces, which are quite rare in Japan, are combined, and I enjoyed the novel and complex taste of each. I can't help but groan at the magical taste of various flavors in my mouth. As expected, the chefs who are active in the world have to devise it!
By the way, in London, when you order at a restaurant or cafe, you often get about 1.5 times the amount you eat in Japan, but here it is a high point that the volume was just right, not too much and not too little. The atmosphere and price of the shop are casual, so it's nice that even tourists can visit without hesitation.
