Global standard ramen refers to ramen made without using meat, fish, or alcohol. It was developed to encourage foreigners and vegetarians (vegans) from Islamic countries who cannot eat pork to enjoy Japanese ramen.
It was sold in July last year, but at that time it was simply "no meat, fish or alcohol". However, in order to bring out a taste that is closer to that of conventional ramen, we use dried vegetables, soybean meat, soy milk, etc., referring to traditional Japanese food and shōjin ryō techniques, and make the appearance and taste of conventional ramen. It seems that the menu has been successfully developed. It is said that it is sold at a total of 6 stores, including 2 stores, "NARUMI-IP PUDO" and "Komurasaki", which are newly launched.
At the same time, it is said that an environment that is easy for visitors from overseas to use has been improved, such as the introduction of free Wi-Fi, the maintenance of a prayer room, and the pictogram (pictogram) display of the menu.
* The menu offered at the museum is not "Halal" but "Muslim friendly".
