Fairycake Fair is a cupcake and scone shop produced by confectionery researcher Romi Igarashi. With three stores in Tokyo (Tokyo Station Gransta store, LUMINE Yurakucho store, Atre Kichijoji store TarTarT), cute sweets using seasonal fruits are sold.

This time, the author rushed to the Fairycake Fair LUMINE Yurakucho store! If you look into the showcase at the store, you will find a lot of cute cupcakes from Kuma-chan and Panda-chan!


This is really really too cute! The author who was killed for a second purchased "Kuma Caramel" immediately so that he could be guided as it is. In addition, we also purchased Halloween-only "ghost pandas" and "pumpkins" as souvenirs for the editorial department.

We will have "Kuma Caramel" in the eat-in space inside the store.


"Kuma caramel" is a cupcake dough mixed with handmade caramel cream. The cream is decorated with chocolate and nuts on Kuma-chan's face.



The round eyes, the slightly distorted mouth, the ears and the nose are all too cute. I can't eat ...!

However, when I hadn't touched it for a while, I felt like Kuma-chan, who was staring at me, was saying "Eat ...", so I finally decided to put in a fork.


The cake dough contains a trolley and a thick caramel cream. When you bring it to your mouth, the slightly bitter caramel taste, elegant sweetness, and fragrance spread throughout your mouth ... it's insanely delicious !!

The dough is fine and moist and heavy. On the other hand, the cream above is light and fluffy, and when you put it in your mouth, it melts softly and instantly. The contrast of this texture is exquisite!


I had the impression that cupcakes tend to have a lumpy dough, but this cupcake has a moist dough and plenty of cream, so it doesn't take away the water in your mouth. Hmm. The modest sweetness also suits the Japanese tongue. It looks so cute and it's so delicious ...!

When that happens, I can't help but feel the urge to eat the two I bought for souvenirs! I decided to go back to the office and try it.


"Ghost Panda" is a cupcake dough mixed with vanilla and mascarpone cream. A pointed hat is a little on the head of the panda decorated with chocolate.

On the other hand, "pumpkin" is finished by kneading pumpkin into dough and cream. It is topped with a pie in the shape of a jack-o-lantern.


From the marble-like dough, you can clearly see that the pumpkin is fully kneaded. When you put the dough and cream together, the taste of sweet pumpkin fills your mouth softly. The crispy pie adds a texture accent to it.
