"Asahi Court Pu'er Tea" using the highest grade "Court Pu'er Tea Leaves" was released by Asahi Soft Drinks on October 14th.

I spend a week rotating PET bottle tea such as green tea, oolong tea, barley tea, and jasmine tea, but I may not have seen Pu'er tea yet. I'm absent-minded about what it tasted in the first place, so I decided to drink it immediately to add it to my new repertoire.


A heavy PET bottle contains 555 ml and costs 140 yen (excluding tax). Thank you for the large size that you can drink all day long.


The reddish brown tea has a distinctive rooibos-like scent, like cooked red beans. It has a mellow taste with no bitterness or astringency, and the aftertaste is refreshing. The faint scent that remains in the mouth is also elegant. Compared to barley tea, it tastes more suitable for adults.

When I transferred it to a cup and warmed it, it had a more gorgeous scent and I could relax very much. Hot is recommended on cold nights!


By the way, the "court" class Pu'er tea leaves are even more luxurious, including many young leaves, among the "special grades" that are the highest grade of tea leaves. It seems that more than 60% is used in this product, so please enjoy it as if you were an aristocrat.
