Reservations for Christmas cakes for 2014 have started at each FamilyMart store. A total of 23 types are available, including character cakes with the motif of the blockbuster movie "Frozen" and cakes supervised by popular pastry chefs and hotel chefs.

"Frozen Christmas Cake" (3,800 yen) is a snowy mountain-shaped Christmas cake. Strawberry preserving and custard whipped cream are wrapped inside. A tote bag is also included. About 15 cm in diameter.


Other popular characters such as "Yo-Kai Watch No. 5" and "Kamen Rider Drive No. 5" are used for the character cake.

Continuing from last year, cakes supervised by the chef of "Les Entremets de Kunitachi" will be on sale this year as well. The lineup includes two types (about 14 cm in diameter), the "Mille-feuille" sandwiched with custard with puff pastry and the chocolate version "Chocolate Millefeuille" (3,100 yen each).


The first appearance this year is a cake supervised by Chef Ikuno of Hotel Nikko Tokyo (Odaiba, Tokyo). Two types are available: the rich chocolate mousse "Noel Chocolat E Franboise" (3,200 yen) and the "Strawberry and Franboise Tiramisu" (5,000 yen), which is a combination of mascarpone cheese mousse and Franboise sauce.


In addition, the lineup includes the "Pet Cake Christmas Petit Cake Set" (1,542 yen) exclusively for pets and the "Tsujiri Matcha Christmas Cake" (2,700 yen) using "Tsujiri" Matcha.


Reservations can be made until December 17th (depending on the product), and delivery at the store is from December 21st to December 25th.
