The En-eating editorial department has enjoyed the taste of each store at the media preview held prior to the opening. Please use it as a reference when you visit us.
The Wagyu Expo will be held for the first time this year to let people know the goodness of Japan's world-class "Wagyu".
In the first place, Wagyu is a meat-only breed that has been raised in Japan since before the Meiji era, and is "Japanese Black (Japanese Black)", "Brown (Brown) Japanese", "Japanese Shorthorn", and "Polled". Only 4 varieties can be named. Compared to regular beef cattle, the meat that has been cultivated with a lot of effort and time has a soft meat quality, a fine and juicy texture, and a rich aroma.
This event is a collection of only these expensive Wagyu beef. Rokki, Meat Mountain, Minna no Makiba, Daikaku Love, Meat Yazawa, Kazeraido, and Kanai Ranch are all participating with their proud menus.
Payment is by ticket. It is a mechanism to purchase a ticket of 300 yen per ticket in advance and hand over the number set for each menu. Tickets and cash can be used together at the drink corner.
Let's take a look at the menus that each store is proud of.
At Daikaku Love, A5 black-haired cow rib roast steak from Yamagata prefecture (limited to 20 meals a day) and steak rice from the same beef are on sale. Ribeye steak is worth eating, even though it's the highest price on the menu with 12 tickets. Steak rice is a highly complete dish that goes well with sauce, meat, and rice. If you also want carbohydrates, please try it.
Of course, the hamburger steak is the signature menu of Meet Yazawa, a well-known procession shop. The thick hamburger steak, which is grilled on an iron plate and then slowly baked in the oven, overflows with gravy. In addition to the hamburger steak, a combo with steak is also available.
At Kanai Ranch, you can eat the pioneer of local burgers, "Sasebo Burger". The 100% Wagyu hamburger weighs 190 grams and has plenty of volume. Also, "Wagyu omelet soba" is stir-fried with beef tallow, so it is delicious even when cooled. "Wagyu Yakiniku Bento", which is made with rice, is also on sale.
Nikuyama is a popular restaurant that you can't go even if you want to go, as reservations are already full within the year. "Salsicha" using minced meat of 100% shorthorn beef is on sale. It goes great with the red Tasmanian mustard.
At Rokki, various menus such as "Stamina Udon", which is full of Japanese black beef loin and roasted in a special sauce, are on sale. It is said that the meat of Kumamoto prefecture's Japanese black beef that has been aged for one month is used for the "Aged Wagyu Beef Salt Menchi" that is served with salt.
The oldest pedigree in Japan, "Chiya beef," was born in Okayama prefecture about 200 years ago. "Senya beef skewers" and "Senya beef curry" are available, but the prices of skewers are almost non-profitable. Simple skewers can be enjoyed at everyone's ranch. Recommended for those who want to eat various types.
In addition, "Yahyakumatsu", which sells vegetables that you want to enjoy with meat, and a shaved ice shop are also on display. The shaved ice is also finished with milk-flavored ice, named after "cow". The soft, melty sweet ice is perfect for desserts.
Admission is free, and the holding time is from 11:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:30). The venue has more than 900 seats, of which 700 have a roof.
The hot days will continue, but I want you to eat plenty of meat and survive the summer. Beer and the finest Wagyu beer are the best.
