An event where you can enjoy "Giant Nagashi Somen", which is about 30 meters long, will be held on August 13th and 14th at Grand Front Osaka (Osaka City).


This event is held with the cooperation of the World Nagashi Somen Association. Bamboo with a total length of about 30 meters will be installed at "Umekita Plaza" on the first basement floor of Grand Front Osaka. Three kinds of original soups are offered by the stores that are open at the facility, and you can enjoy them while eating and comparing them. In addition, a surprise production is planned in which various vegetables will flow.

It will be held 5 times each day from 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, and 19:00. On the day of the event, you can participate by purchasing products at the event venue or at the Umekita Cellar (Umekita Plaza B1F / 1F) store.

By the way, the World Nagashi Somen Association is trying to update "Nagashi Somen's fastest in Japan" in Kyoto in July 2013. The challenge seems to have become "flying somen" because of too much momentum.
