The dessert cafe "Serendipity 3" from New York opens for the first time in Japan. It opened on August 10th in Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku.


Serendipity is a dessert cafe that was born in Manhattan, New York in 1954 under the concept of "accidental happy discovery". It is a popular shop that is loved by many celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and has appeared as a stage for American dramas and movies such as "Sex and the City".


The inside of the store is a cute space that values the world of fairy tales. Large clocks, walls with mirrors, bird gauge-like seats, glittering lamps, etc. are photogenic everywhere you look! The terrace seats overlooking the city of Omotesando are also wonderful.



The menu is super gorgeous! The signature menu is "Frozen Hot Chocolate" with a height of 20 cm or more. Original powder that is a blend of about 14 types of chocolate is used. Topped with plenty of whipped cream.


Rich chocolate flavor that fills your mouth. You can enjoy a richer taste by mixing the cream. It's quite a volume, but it's so delicious that you can drink it alone!

To commemorate the opening of the store for the first time in Japan, "Frozen Hot Chocolate with Matcha Ice" has also appeared. In addition to the original powder, matcha ice cream is mixed. A blissful taste that combines mellow white chocolate and bittersweet matcha ♪ The mochi-mochi warabi mochi is an accent.


In addition, there are "Serendipity 3 Tokyo Treasure Chest" (reservation required), which is topped with a treasure chest made of chocolate, three kinds of cakes, and fruits, and "Cherry Pie Sunday", which is only available in Japan. There are dreamy desserts that will surely cheer you when they are brought in.



The food menu is also substantial. The lineup includes "Empire State Onion Rings" with a height of 20 cm or more, American-sized "The Footlong Hot Dogs", and "Gardenia Pasta" with plenty of seasonal vegetables. All have plenty of volume!
