The Belgian bakery restaurant "Le Pain Quotidien" will open in Tokyo Midtown (Roppongi, Tokyo) on June 1st.
Le Pain Quotidien, a bakery restaurant with about 250 stores worldwide. In addition to breakfast and brunch menus, the store that will open this time will offer the world's first dinner menu. We have a large lineup of wines and cocktails that match the dishes.
The signature menu is the open sandwich "Tartine" using organic wheat bread. Vegetables, prosciutto, salmon, etc. are combined to make it look colorful and beautiful.
The lineup includes "Hamon Serrano & Ricotta" (1,390 yen), "Smoked salmon & avocado" (1,430 yen), and "Bacon and eggs & tomatoes" (990 yen). In each case, you can enjoy the gorgeous taste of the ingredients and the flavorful bread. It is impressive that the bread not only serves as a "base" but also firmly participates in the taste and adds depth.
Meat and fish dishes are available on the dinner menu. "US Prime Beef Rib Steak" (270g (9.52oz), 6,790 yen), "Spicy Grilled Oshu Iwai Chicken from Iwate Prefecture" (2,390 yen), "Grilled Aurora Salmon and Large Shrimp" (2,490 yen), etc. A simple seasoned menu is available.
Don't miss the dessert menu. We recommend the "lemon tart", which has a sweet and sour taste, and the "cheese tart", which is rich like custard. The price starts from 500 yen. A set menu (1,000 yen) with drinks is also offered from 15:00 to 17:00.
Of course, we also have plenty of To go bread. In addition to baguettes and other meal breads and pastries such as croissants and muffins, spreads to be applied to the bread, drinks to be combined, and the cakes mentioned above will make the bakery corner lively.
Business hours are from 7:30 to 23:00 (last order 22:00). 80 seats in the store, 32 seats on the terrace. In the coming season, it will be comfortable to eat while feeling the outside breeze on the terrace.
