A new product "Louiselle" was released on April 1st at each of the French bakery cafe "Brioche Dore".

Luisel is a sweet bread made by folding butter into brioche dough that uses plenty of eggs and butter. It's a hybrid of brioche and croissant, and it looks like a cinnamon roll.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the store's founding, it was released in the home country last fall. This is the first landing in Japan. There are two types of lineup, "Louiselle Original" and "Louiselle Caramel". The price is 380 yen each (tax included).

Luisel Original is a Luisel topped with French casonade (brown sugar) and hail sugar, which are characterized by honey and vanilla-like scents.

The surface has a crisp and fragrant texture like a croissant. Plenty of butter is folded into the dough inside, and the more you chew, the more mellow the butter spreads in your mouth.

Rich taste with plenty of butter

A dish where you can enjoy the deliciousness of the ingredients, such as the slight sweetness of the dough and butter, and the gentle flavor of the egg. Those who like heavy buttery croissants will love it!

On the other hand, Louisel caramel is made by wrapping French casonade and bittersweet caramel with a crunchy texture in brioche dough, and topped with fondant caramel.

Caramel, which has both rich sweetness and bitterness, is added, and you can enjoy a richer taste. Excellent compatibility with coffee! It is also recommended to warm it up a little to make the fondant caramel "thick".
