Tonkatsu Wako is a restaurant specializing in tonkatsu that is spread nationwide. We offer a set meal menu of fried foods centered on pork cutlet. Free refills of rice, cabbage, and miso soup (excluding some stores).

Not limited to Wako, the big pleasure when going to a pork cutlet specialty store is "freshly fried crispy batter". Many people will go to the store in search of fried batter that is difficult to reproduce at home.

For this reason, it seems that there are many people who have never eaten it, although it is a standard dish. It is a so-called "cutlet boiled" menu in which thin slices of roasted cutlet and onion are bound with sweet and spicy dashi soup and eggs.

The price is 1,383 yen (tax included). There is also "Hirekatsu Nabe Rice" (1,491 yen including tax) that uses finkatsu. The serving time varies depending on the store, and it may be served only on the restaurant menu after lunch.

When you open the lid of the large pot that sticks out of the tray, you will see a simmered cutlet that simmers vigorously. Under the pot, the solid fuel is on fire, making it difficult to cool.

The batter that has absorbed plenty of dashi soup melts gently when chewed, and spreads the sweetness with umami throughout the mouth. The dashi soup is a little sweeter, and it goes well with rice and cabbage, but it's so thick that it's not salty even if you eat it alone.

The pork inside is soft and juicy. When chewed, the taste of meat and the sweetness of fat exude, and the rich taste that is entwined with the dashi soup is completed.

The eggs are well cooked and have a crispy texture (maybe because it was too late to touch). The two are large volumes that you probably use, and the lightness goes well with the sweet and spicy dashi stock. It's fun to eat with tonkatsu because the texture changes.
