At the lunch box section on the basement of the Daimaru Tokyo store, the "Bento Grand Prix" was held to determine the number one popular lunch box. I entered 44 kinds of bento. The ranking was decided by the votes from the customers (1,669 votes).

Below are the top five.

1st place: Nihonbashi Isesada "Layered eel lunch box Manman"


An eel lunch box in a two-tiered box. "Ichinoju" is full of grilled eel. "Ninoju" is packed with thick "Umaki", which is the first lunch box in the store. The price is 11,880 yen. Reservations are required at least 3 days in advance.

2nd place: Jojoen "Yugen"


Special roast and special ribs are spread on rice, and side dishes made from carefully selected ingredients are packed together. The price is 10,800 yen. Reservation required at least 2 days in advance.

3rd place: Nihonbashi Hiyama "Yamagata beef luxury steak lunch"


In addition to the selected sirloin steak, a luxurious bento with fillet steak. The price is 10,800 yen. Made after ordering.

4th place: Kakiyasu beef rice "Kuroge Wagyu beef yakiniku & beef rice"


A bento box with grilled meat from the rare part "Kainomi" and beef rice, which is the specialty of the restaurant. The price is 1,644 yen.

5th place: Shiretoko sushi "Shiretoko Pirika sushi"


A bento that has been "upgraded" by adding sea urchin and gagome kelp to salmon, crab, and salmon roe, which are "signboard material". The price is 1,980 yen.
