Saizeriya "Amatriciana Rosso"
Amatriciana Rosso (tomato flavor)

Following the earthquake in central Italy, traditional Italian restaurants "Amatriciana Navi Anco" and "Amatriciana Rosso" are on sale from September 11th to the end of October at each Italian restaurant "Saizeriya". The price is 399 yen each (excluding tax). 100 yen per meal will be donated to the city of Amatrice.

This is a menu released to support reconstruction following the earthquake in central Italy on August 24th. According to Saizeriya, "We have decided to support the reconstruction of the earthquake disaster for the city of Amatrice, which has a deep and friendly relationship with us for some time," and we have reached this initiative.

"Amatriciana" is a traditional pasta that originated in Amatrice in central Italy. It is made using ingredients that have been around for a long time in the region, such as Guanciale (salted pork cheeks) and pecorino cheese (sheep milk cheese).

Currently, Amatriciana Rosso, which uses tomatoes, is famous, but it seems that Amatriciana Navianco, which does not use tomatoes, was originally the prototype. This pasta, also known as "greecha," is said to have been popular with people here even before tomato sauce became popular in Italy.

Originally, Guanciale is used as the material, but Saizeriya uses the same Italian pancetta (salted pork belly) in order to provide reconstruction assistance as soon as possible.
