The Tokyo venue of the first collaboration cafe "Kirby Cafe" of the game "Kirby of the Stars" will open in Tokyo Sky Tree Town Solamachi on August 26th tomorrow.

Kirby Cafe is a collaboration cafe where you can enjoy a menu with characters such as Kirby as a motif in a store full of Kirby. It will be held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kirby's birth next year.

The eating editorial department infiltrated the preview before the opening. I've taken a picture of the shop and tasted a part of the menu, so I will introduce it!

What kind of place is Kirby Cafe?

Kirby Cafe is located in the East Yard on the 4th floor of Tokyo Sky Tree Town Solamachi. The entrance is outdoors, at the Sky Arena. Please note that you cannot enter directly from indoors!


An eye-catching Kirby & Waddle Dee illustration is placed on the glass exterior. There is something like cream in the mouth of Kirby who is a cook. Did you eat a pinch?

Inside the store, there are illustration boards and huge Kirby & Waddle Dee mascots, as well as characters on the walls and windowpanes.




What makes me happy is that Kirby figures are waiting in all seats! Please take a picture with the menu you ordered.

What is the Kirby Cafe menu?

There are 18 kinds of menu, 6 kinds each of food, drink and sweets. I tried three of them, "Kirby's fluffy pancakes," "Waddle Dee's luxury hayashi rice," and "Maxim tomato cup soup."

・ Kirby's fluffy pancakes 1,480 yen (excluding tax, same below)
A dish made by layering two pancakes and Kirby made of cream. Kirby is a combination of fresh cream, custard cream, and framboise puree to create a pink color.


The Kirby part has a sweet and slightly sour taste. It melts when you put it in your mouth. Eat it with fluffy pancakes and enjoy the fluffy texture.


・ Maxim tomato cup soup 600 yen
Cold soup based on tomato and peach. The "M" mark is represented by potatoes and balsamic vinegar.


It has a rich taste with a smooth mouthfeel. You can feel the sourness, sweetness, and umami of tomatoes. Personally, I recommend it! It's perfect for hot days.

・ Waddle Dee's luxury hayashi rice 1,680 yen
Authentic hayashi rice finished with beef fried in red wine and demiglace sauce with deep richness and mellow taste. Waddle Dee's face is expressed in Monaka on the rice.


A mellow, sweet and rich roux. It has a rich taste.


Not only are they all cute in appearance, but they also have a high level of taste! The price is a little high as a collaboration cafe, but it is delicious enough to be convinced.

By the way, Waddle Dee probably became the main character so far. For the author, whose memory has stopped at the Super Nintendo, it was an image of one of the Zakos ...


In addition, Kirby's latte art is cute "Pupupuccino" (650 yen), "Whispy Woods Green Greens Plate", "Affogato that Meta Knight suddenly eats" (700 yen), etc. Menu is provided.




Also, if you order some food menus, you will receive one "2.5D Figure Kirby Cafe Collection" at random. Kirby Cafe signboard illustrations are designed on transparent plates. Cuteness that makes you want to collect and line up!


At the same time, the Kirby Cafe official shop will open. The place is on the 4th floor of Tokyo Solamachi (R) like the cafe, but please note that it is a little far away. Originally designed tote bags, neck pillows, tin badges, etc. will be on sale.

The end date for both Kirby Cafe and Kirby Cafe official shop is undecided. It's open until at least the end of September, but Kirby fans who don't want to miss it are encouraged to go early!
