This season, when a new life begins and the number of welcome parties at the company increases. What kind of impression do new members of society have about the "drinking party" of such a company?

Sapporo Breweries conducted a questionnaire survey of 209 men and women in the first to third years of working life. The naked (?) Thoughts of young people have been released. Even seniors who are 4 years old or older should refer to it so that they can build good relationships with their juniors!

◆ How often do you have a drinking party (1 month)?

When asked how often they expect to have a drinking party or if they actually go to drink, the following results are obtained.

1st place: 1-2 times (56.0%)
2nd place: 3-4 times (20.1%)
3rd place: 0 times (15.3%)
4th place: 5 times or more (8.6%)

More than half answered "once or twice a month". Personally, I think it's a "healthy result." There are people around me who go drinking 3-4 times a week (= 10 times a month or more), so it depends on the culture of the company.

◆ What is the ideal frequency of drinking parties?

Next, when asked about the frequency of ideal drinking parties, "I want you to be this much in a month," the results are as follows.

1st place: 1-2 times (66.5%)
2nd place: 3-4 times (21.1%)
3rd place: 0 times (6.7%)
4th place: 5 times or more (5.7%)

Approximately 2 out of 3 responded that the ideal frequency was "once or twice a month." In addition, 20% of the respondents answered 3-4 times (about once a week). In other words, more than 80% of young people want (maybe) take them to drink at least once a month, so why not invite your seniors to take this as a guide?

◆ Do you want to go drinking with your senior / boss?

Want to go drinking with your seniors and bosses? 80.4% of the respondents answered "I think" or "I think". Hoping that this is everyone's true intention, I also looked into the desires of young people about the "ideal situation" where they go drinking with their seniors and bosses.

◆ Ideal situation

When I was a new member of society,

Boss "Finally the project has been completed, it was a lot of work, but I did it well! Alright, are you going to drink today!"
New member of society "Yes! Thank you !!"

When you have a refreshing story like, or when you are stuck at work and in agony

Senior "Hey, I'm going to drink"
New member of society "Well, but I still have work today ..."
Senior "Because it's good, get along!"
New member of society "Yes ... Yes!"

I longed for an invitation situation from a senior who wrapped up a veil of forcible kindness, but when a new member of society actually wants to go drinking with his senior / boss, after all, "a big job is a break. The most common answer was "when I was invited" (61.7%), followed by "when my boss / senior invited me" (48.3%) and "when my work was not going well" (35.4%).

In addition, the factors to expect from a drinking party with seniors and bosses are "Tell me about a store you do not know" (56.9%), "Expand your network" (56.0%), "Listen to your worries about work and life" You can get it "(53.6%) is the top.

When you become a member of society and take you to a nice shop that you had no connection with when you were a student, you think that you have grown up. In addition, juniors may want to rely on their seniors and bosses when they get lost in their lives as well as in their work, such as "getting them to broaden their connections" and "getting them to hear about their worries about work and life."

On the other hand, when asked what they were worried about at a drinking party with their seniors and bosses, the 1st place was "Drinking party etiquette such as how to pour alcohol" (42.1%), and the 2nd place was "Ask for tricks to liven up the place". It seems to be possible ”(28.2%).

Certainly, when pouring a bottle of beer, people are told to turn the label up, and young people should always keep an eye on the glasses of their seniors and bosses, and everyone is nervous at first. Personally, I'm wondering if the manners are too detailed, but this may be one of the gateways for working people. Also, I think it's best to give only the young people who seem to have done one trick to liven up the place. However, you should never force yourself to drink at once.

◆ Is there a drinking nickname?

Do you think drinking parties with seniors and bosses will be a means of communication? 87.1% answered "I think" or "I think". It seems that many new members of society take "drinking nication" positively.

Also, are you satisfied with your work? 85.2% of the respondents answered that they were "satisfied" with the question, saying that they had a drinking party at least once a month. I can't say it unconditionally, but maybe the drinking place with my seniors and bosses has a good influence on my satisfaction with my work.
