Do you like hot dogs? I like them, but I have always thought that if the bread was a little more filling, I would be even more satisfied (fuller)! I have always thought that if the bread was a little more filling, I would be more satisfied (fuller).

If there is anyone out there who feels the same way, this is what you should try! It is a " Laugendog," a hot dog made with German "pretzel bread. It is served at "G-Style Cafe" in Gotanda, and I have recently become addicted to it because it is simple, yet tasty and satisfying.

Laugendog is a good bread.

Laugendog is a long, thin sausage sandwiched between two pieces of savory bread made from pretzel dough and seasoned with ketchup and mustard. Laugen" is an alkaline solution called "Laugen Solution" that is used to soak the dough when making pretzel bread. This gives the bread a unique aroma and texture.

The pretzel bread is simply delicious. The surface of the dough is crispy and fragrant, while the inside is chewy. It is slightly hard and chewy, and the more you bite into it, the more the slightly salty, wheat flavor lingers in your mouth.

The sausage is so juicy that it sticks out of the bread, and when you bite into it, you can taste the juices coming out of the sausage. The juices from the sausage and the pretzel bread linger in the mouth for a while, blending together to create a savory, salty, sweet, and umami taste.

Fried onions are served on top as much as you like!

After 11:00 a.m., you can add "fried onions" and "pickles" to your Laugen dog as much as you like. This is a great service!

The fried onions are crispy and savory, and the more you bite into them, the more flavorful they become. The finely chopped pickles, on the other hand, have a pleasant crunchy texture and a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. They also help to refresh the fat from the sausage.

Personally, I recommend the "Cheese Laugen Dog" topped with melted cheese, plenty of fried onions and pickles. The umami of the sausage, the mild richness of the cheese, and the sweetness of the pickles all intertwine to create a perfect harmony!

Notable Sweets -- "Cream Puff," a "hard" cream puff

There is also an unusual item on the sweets menu. It is the "Cream Puff" (230 yen), a cream puff from the Netherlands. It is said to be made with 38.5% milk fat and more than 60% fresh cream, and is baked with a rich dough filling. It does not contain vegetable cream or custard cream.

When you touch it with your hand, you will be surprised at how hard it is. The dough is so sturdy that when you tap it with your fingertips, it becomes stiff. It has a crispy texture.

It's filled with soft, chewy cream!

The cream inside is thick and looks like cottage cheese. When you eat it, it has a soft and fluffy texture. It is milky and rich, but has a refreshing sweetness that does not linger. It melts instantly on the tongue, leaving a milk-like flavor in the mouth. It may be similar to the feeling of eating vanilla ice cream.

The most popular drink "Tiramisu Latte Ice Cream

Here, we would like to introduce one of the most popular drinks on the menu. This is the "Tiramisu Latte (iced)," the most popular drink on the menu. The regular price is 380 yen.

I was surprised when I first took it.

The three-colored latte is topped with a generous amount of whipped cream. The cream is soft and mild, and like tiramisu, it tastes like cheese. It is not too sweet, so you can't help but gobble it up!

Mixing the whole mixture together while drinking it is like drinking tiramisu. The balance of bitterness and sweetness is just right for adult women.

Such mature women can enjoy a quick bite of freshly baked bread before going to work.

G-Style Cafe also sells bread baked in the store. Since they can be bought quickly, they are perfect for stopping by before work in the morning and taking out with coffee.

The most popular item is the "Anko Croissant" (180 yen). The slightly salty croissant dough is baked and filled with sweet bean paste. They are so popular that they are sold out as soon as they appear in the store, and they seem to be baked several times a day.

When you bite into one, your mouth and nose are filled with the aroma of fragrant wheat and butter. When you bite into the crispy outer crust, the dough underneath is moist and glutinous. The sweet bean paste inside is soft and chewy. They are best when freshly baked, but if you take them out and they have cooled down, you can warm them up in a toaster before eating them.

In addition, the basic coffee blend has a perfect balance of bitterness, acidity, and savory flavor, and the "chicken raugen dog," which is a long, thin chicken nugget sandwiched between two sausages, is innovative and delicious (although I prefer the sausage). No matter which one you choose, you can't go wrong.

The menu is also quite extensive, with baked goods for sale at the checkout counter and cakes and sandwiches in the showcase. Moreover, all of them are reasonably priced. Cheap and delicious is one of the reasons why people want to go there every day.

If you work in Gotanda or have a chance to come to Gotanda on business, why not stop by? You may find something you've never tasted before.
