Starbucks Coffee will release new drinks "Sakura Blossom & Strawberry Frappuccino" (Tall size 550 yen ~ / tax not included, same below) and "Sakura Blossom & Strawberry Latte" (Short size 430 yen ~) on February 15th. Both are finished with a gorgeous pink gradation, and you can enjoy the combination of cherry blossoms and strawberries. I was allowed to taste it for a while!

■ Sakura Blossom & Strawberry Frappuccino

A cream-based Frappuccino mixed with an original sauce using cherry blossoms and strawberries, and plenty of shave chocolate (shaving chocolate). It is also topped with strawberry-flavored whipped cream, cherry blossom petals and salted leaves, strawberry sauce, and shave chocolate.


The pink shave chocolate is made by shaving chocolate that combines the two flavors of cherry blossoms and strawberry in a marble shape. Therefore, if you look closely, you can see that there are shades of color. The size and shape are also random.


After a cool cold drink, the richness and mellow sweetness of milk and the elegant cherry blossom flavor spread. If you chew chocolate, it will have a crispy texture, and if it falls on your tongue, it will melt into your mouth. When the slightly sweet and sour taste blends into the base drink, the taste becomes even more gorgeous.

The sweetness is less than you can imagine from the appearance, and the slight saltiness like sakura mochi tightens the whole. Another bite, another bite ... The author, who was not good at cherry blossom flavor because of the image that the fragrance was too strong, wanted to repeat this.

On the other hand, the latte is a "non-coffee drink" that combines steam milk (hot milk) with the gorgeous flavors of cherry blossoms and strawberries. This is also topped with strawberry-flavored whipped cream, cherry blossom petals, salted leaves, strawberry sauce, and shave chocolate.


The base is chocolate-free. Therefore, it is not too sweet and you can fully enjoy the richness of rich milk. The scent of cherry blossoms and strawberries is gorgeous, and the mouth is refreshing with a faint saltiness.

I also tried the "Sakura Chiffon Cake" (380 yen), which will be released at the same time.


The soft and moist dough melts in your mouth and spreads the flavor of cherry blossoms.

It has a light pink color and a soft texture, which is the image of spring itself. It's not too sweet, so you can combine it with the above drinks.


In addition, goods from the "SAKURA" series, which will be released at this time of year, will be released one after another. From February 15th, the "Serene" line, which is based on the image of "calm and calm cherry blossoms," and from March 1st, the "Cheery" line, which is based on the image of "energetic and exciting cherry blossoms," will be on sale.



The "SAKURA" series is popular every year, and some stores may sell out on the day of release. If you have an item you are interested in, it may be safer to get it early.
